Poems of the Afterlife
Words from the spirit

The poems In the Near Light, Heaven Must Wait, The Valley of Peace and Thank you, Friends were written by near-death experiencers.   From the work entitled The Prophet comes Kahlil Gibran's poem on death.   Some speculation has occured on whether the noted poet Emily Dickenson had a near-death experience.  Her poem I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died has aspects of a near-death experience.  The poem Candle In The Window has a very interesting true story that goes with it concerning the last dream of dying woman.   The poem Calling All Angels is from a song by Eliza Gilkensen which deals with our fall from our heavenly origins and how love is the light that guides us back home.
